They don’t attract the masses and it’s really no surprise.
To the rarer creatures we often give affection

Exceptionally tasty are slugs
worms, flies and other such bugs.
On them I crunch
for dinner and lunch-
those that don’t eat them are mugs!

Though my love for him was quite besotting
love poems no more am I jotting,
my love’s lost it’s season,
