Although all members of the Pig Pen enjoy poetry and are (almost) universally committed to improving the quality of our writing, many of us really like to have a place where we can blow off steam and be a bit (a lot) silly without the eyes of the world upon us.
The Pig's Arse and the Sewer (along with the Members Only poetry forum) are safe from the spies of search engines, spambots and other unsavoury types. From time to time, a thread from the main section of the forum will be moved to one of these areas not as punishment, but because it's something we want to continue without the restrictions of... well, good taste mainly
. If it's something we don't want to continue at all, mods can just delete threads instead. Contrary to what you might think, we really don't like doing that. We don't like using the red pen, giving warnings, etc -- but the public forums have to have rules in place. These rules don't apply in members only areas.
You have to opt in for these forums. To join, just follow these instructions.
