I just spent half an hour responding to Queen Victoria only to find the thread deleted. (not the poem thread, as I knew that one was going to be deleted.
Why?
Are tec and I not allowed to respond?
Frustrated.

I'm so sorry, I stand in the same corner. I know that mods and admins always try to make what we think is the best decision for the site but I'm not a fan of this one either, I would have preferred she go and her threads and posts stay. I'm hoping a somewhat satisfying answer will appear, but all I can do now is apologize to anyone whose posts were deleted and sincerely thank you all for staying true to the spirit of the site and taking your time with this.
I don't expect this to do but it's all I have, ella

Not your fault Ella. I just don't understand the policy. She came here, took a shit in our house, was advised it didn't smell too nice, then asked us to remove it. So we do.
I have much respect for everything the mods do here. It is a thankless job most times.
Here is the problem. Fuck her, she couldn't complete a single sentence coherently anyway. But maybe I learned something from the discussions in those threads. Maybe another new member with a better attitude learned something.
This way, no one learns anything.

It was a quick reaction, the one button is easier with mybb but that is not an excuse. We will attempt to do better in the future.

I missed it and I am sad
Shall we start a Pig's Arse thread to fill me in? It might make a good cautionary tale for future prima donnas.

I agree... Recently I spent time responding to either Rowens or crow about plagiarism vs allusion and the thread was deleted. I demand a recount!

Somebody was sad that tektac thought their poem was shit and wanted us all to feel their rage. Also, they got an A in poetry class.

To clarify, I was in no way frustrated with any of our hard working mods. It was simply bad timing for me, and perhaps Tom. Anyway, she's gone and probably has a hundred likes on facebook by now.
On an ironic note, you are welcome to delete this thread now if anyone feels it may be a discouragement to other new members.

I don't think it needs deleting and I have always been proud of the fact that we don't hide behind rules or deletes on this site but are honest and transparent with our members who really do, in many ways, own the site.

Funny how the longer you've been in this business, the faster you can spot them and the more accurately you can predict how irritating they will be.
Seems I was right about milo all along...
