Hello to all the new members! Welcome!
You can introduce yourselves here if you like.

thank you quixilated.
i'm new to the site [well it feels a little bit like it] i liked fishing football and fuc .. opps got carried away almost. i like writing poetry concerning farts and poo and slapstick crap and stuff. i have been MIA for a while in the twilight zone of ward F, but i found where they kept the keys. i'll be taking it easy to start with as i'm as rusty as rusty the dead cocker spaniel. i did post in friday thread without giving feedback but promise i'll make up for it over the coming days. i hope to make many new friends and am always open to honest feedback though at times can be very timid. looking forward to interacting with you all [not you rowens, as you talk too much ] and getting to know all my fellow newbies. will get started proper tomorrow. oh, thank you for the work you've done on behalf of the site quixie, it's appreciate. x <

Welcome back, billy!!! I’m happy you’re feeling better. >
<(Don’t worry, you don’t have to be caught up on feedback for the Friday thread.

Hello, thanks for having me. I'm not a poet, but I teach English as a second language. I was raised by emotionally-damaged hillbillies, so I'm guessing I'll fit in anyway.

If so, that's pretty fucking cool I would say "we" welcome you to the forum, but apparently I'm not allowed to speak for other people. So I can only say I welcome you. Good luck. I hope you make it

I'd hope they slap you down silly. So thanks for the welcome. (07-17-2020, 05:23 AM)Quixilated Wrote:(07-17-2020, 03:50 AM)Valerie Please Wrote: Hello, thanks for having me. Although my current gig is English, I spent most of my tenure promoting the Spanish language, and of course I have a love of peninsular and Latin literature. So the "Quix" in "Quixilated" is a delight. Thanks again for the hello!

Hello everyone! My name's Dillan. I just turned 23 at the end of June. I'm very shy about my writing but would love some actual feedback! Asking people close to me is just too embarrassing.

I like platypi, or at least I liked platypi more before me and my girlfriend started using the word "platypus" to table arguments, now platypi aren't so good. Currently digging on a giant collection of Wallace Stevens, probably will be for a couple months as I only read a few smaller poems or one larger one a day. Next up will probably be Norman Dubie. I read them aloud, because you got to read them aloud: it's a poem! Glad to be here and have some more avenues of critique! All the poets I used to know were eaten by bears, all tragic accidents. If you're going to write poetry, and continue to write poetry, you need to prepare yourself for bear attacks.

Welcome, Carvano! We are very happy to have you. I'll be sure to watch out for bears.
