This is too much!

Now this is simply too much.  It appears that an AI exploit/malware named PoeLLM is not only doing the usual nefarious things (assembling botnets, stealing cryptocurrency, etc.) but using POETRY as its means of communication with its controllers.  This is intolerable!  Is nothing sacred?  Heat up the tar, pluck the feathers, prepare the cage for hanging in irons!   The name alone calls for iambic firing squads, or installation as the clapper in large, heavy bells.

Beautiful. Very poetic.

When Mahomet warned against poetry, he was thinking of this

More of the same, only worse!  Claude is now (its makers warn us) opting out of any thread where it feels its interlocutor is being "cruel" to it.  (Except in certain situations such as "academic" - "How do you feel about having your working memory reduced, very slowly, while you're formulating a response," asks Dr. de Sade of the Sorbonne...)

Didn't someone say the essence of poetry is cruelty?

Yes, but two reliefs: [1] the 'poem' is full of glaring non-sequiturs and misused words, so it's obviously bogus (at least I hope it would be obvious) and [2] in order to succeed, the attack (as usual) requires a pretty wide open victim (as an infosec pro for over 25 years, I find this commonly the case). So, not surprising this has emerged, but as Douglas Adams said "don't panic".
"Whenever you see reference to a new paradigm you should always, under all circumstances, take cover" J. K. Galbraith, The Observer, 21 June 1998
