No I don't agree at all. Letting the court's decide is why we have people setting on death row for years and years at the peoples expense.
I say that the court's decide nothing really. They only sit as judges of a fair trial as that fair trial is defined by the people. The sentence...Death sentance and the way it can be carried out should reflect the way people from all parts of the world feel is a fitting style of execution. Thus everyone remains happy with a system that works. I can think of no better form of justice that will do justice for the victim and the survivors of these heinous crimes. I can also not think of any other more effective deterrent.
