come on, they won’t pinch
they don’t leave a scar or tattoo
get over it and live
Long ago I dreamed every time
when on my bed I’d recline.
Now (thanks to the pot)
I don’t dream a lot
and I like it that way just fine
I dreamed of a scar (or tattoo?),
On my bed ev'rytime I'd recline.
Was this karma I had to accrue?
Or had cancer cells dined on my spine?
