Thanks everyone! I'm glad I have the chance to be a part of such a great community of poets/writers! I'm taking everyone's advice and do appreciate the warm welcome. I've been skimming through the different threads and I've read up on the basic rules of the forum since I first introduced myself. I'm much more aware of how things work. I must say, this whole forum thing is new to me as well as making my words public (rambling and repeating myself) so I'm extremely reluctant on critiquing just because I feel I'm not worthy, but I'll warm up. Promise.

You're the reader! Of course your response is important. Try to figure out what you like or what bothers you about a poem and state specifically what that is. Like anything else, once you understand the concept learning by doing is best.
