the voice of god declares i'm close
a close friend: we shall overcome
motivational poster hanging in my bedroom
double bed, moonlight, stranger to my right

I like this little ditty even if I don't feel cut off reading. It's that last line that makes me feel like it's only a strophe from a larger work. But metered lines always do that to me.
