		Disrupting The Signal
The rage bait
worked on me,
doused me with anxiety—
the force of fear atop my head
weighed me down,
but instead
of succumbing to blindness,
melting softly into submission,
my psyche grew strong.
As the robots around me
pressed their alarms,
I shut mine off
and fully disarmed.
With skepticism as my only weapon,
I took control of my own cognition
and peered among the talking heads,
that spewed fury
and incited dread—
with tales of elusive wolves,
hungry and lurking
among the colorful wildflowers,
blowing gently in the open breeze.
A little ditty I worked on today after feeling a little irritated. lol. Sometimes... you just have to let it out in a poem.
