Hello carah-

Yep, sometimes ya just gotta let it rip in a poem.

Though there's no going back to rotary-dial, one of the good things about being my age is that I grew up with it. Always had a dime in my pocket for an emergency call, too. I don't want to go back, but am glad I was there, then. It's insulated me from addiction to 'social' media.

Though I don't even own a gun, I think it would be great fun to go to a shooting range that has video screens as targets. Disrupt the signal.

Yes, as a 40-year-old, I remember those times well and miss them a lot. I have been slowly unplugging, deleting social media apps from my phone, and trying to live a bit more present. It's tough though, because it's everywhere... and even if I unplug, I am so aware that everyone else isn't. Plus, I'm trying to raise two pre-teens in this social media age, which is an interesting experience as well.
