Short Cat Poems (other pets welcome)

I fed my cat daily
around 4pm.
An afternoon ritual
she eats throughout
the evening.

I fed my cat at 3pm.
Because somedays
anticipation is overrated. 

I fed my cat at 12pm
because I'm home
and feeling guilty
about eating alone.

I fed my cat at 9am
so my cat isn't
trying to flee
before I go to work.

Its 7:30am and I'm feeding
my cat pretending this decision
belongs to me.

I actually liked this quite a bit and I didn't expect to.  It really captures that feeling of having a cat - or any pet really in that we just want to shower them with love and they just want to eat.  We know we aren't supposed to overfeed them but . . .
