Been repotting stuff today



Found a cormorants pelvis and a swan's sternum last week on a trip the coastline. So I decided to start collecting bones. Did three more trips and found part of a dolphin vertebrate, something from a seal as well as some deer bones and shoulder blade and gull femurs and more bird sternums along with interesting stones and pieces of glass and pottery and shells. 
And although my bone collecting days are over it was fun while it lasted (4 days), I want my bloody bench back.

This is all well and good, but what would be really interesting is if you started seeing bones that looked unfamiliar, but still fun, and then one day you opened a book on dinosaur paleo biology and discovered that you’ve been gathering bones - not fossilised ones - of a Mososaurus.
And an adventure starts.
