Buttons got bit by another dog just now
We were walking the big dogs through
For the last potty walk of the day when
A greyhound mix jumped the gate
Got a hold of his neck.  

All the vets are closed until tuesday
Except the emergency vet off the freeway
I honestly think if I put neosporin on it
And wrap it up, it will be fine but if you
Want me to take him tonight I will.

Ill stop home to eat something on the way
Ive been slammed since 7 this morning

Jeremy called and ask if we could jam
I had to stay up to give Buttons medicine
So i just went and hung out with him
Instead of coming home and accidentally
Oversleeping, missing his first dosage.

I couldn't have predicted any of this
What were the odds he called to play music
A night I happen to have to stay up anyway
For a dog bite on a holiday, I certainly 
Had no idea they were swingers!

I dont talk about that stuff with my friends
And why might I ask do you know that?
