I don't know what W. B. Yeats is talking about in most of his early poems as I never read Irish folklore or study the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn or know anything Yeats' biography.
Yet, I know what he's talking about.
In cases where the visitors speak with witnesses, they frequently make claims about themselves, their technologies, and their intentions that are obviously absurd, or self contradicting.
