I can't think of many things I care less about than this.

The trouble with rejecting the whole subject is that, though one cares nothing about it, it cares about you.  Concerning governance by GAIs, what will they be like and what will prevent them from governing if asked to do so?  Will they be gods of us, and in what configuration - mono, trinity, pantheon, Hindu multiplicity of hierarchies?

My most recent sighting on this subject (this morning, on my phone of all places) is that users - not programmers, just line users - have used natural language queries to get GAIs to build jailbreaking programs that let them escape the tyranny of database, operating system, and word processor oligarchies.  Some of the leftier GAI purveyors (Anthropic was one) have now guardrailed their products to prevent this... but there will be others (Grok is probably one) that will maintain that potential and thereby empower the plebes.  Will the plebes act wisely?  Will there be wars in Heaven?  Who are the Titans and who the gods?

(Later edit:  the Roman trope of making threes to solve disputes - the Tri-Tribe-Tribune system - might work.  For a while.)

Interesting times.  Disinterest is an option, though also a response.

And if so . . . why?  Should be the same in Democrat Cities . . .
