I know I regret ever signing up to Facebook. 
I only did to keep track of my wondering son.
And as Addy has pointed out .... it will be the young and least careful ones that will be at the greatest risk as usual.
I'm guessing that most Facebook users don't know how to set their privacy options safely and end up being too open.
