		Hi,
I saw this when you first posted it and fully intended to comment on it, but then I forgot, and then to my horror I just noticed that it had slipped off the first page without a comment.
It's really beautiful and kind of how I try to look at life, because you are right, eventually everything becomes a poem.
Also thanks for all the picture poems that you have posted recently they have given me a lot of inspiration and food for thought, and I have a few ideas simmering away that will come to fruition soon.
Thanks again.

I would have liked it more if you trimmed 'stolidly' and 'patiently'. Feels more powerfully dramatic to hit soberly then.
Still, it's miscellaneous!! Have fun! Carry on!

Yes, you're right. Just deleted them, much better. Thanks.

Sorry love.
Sure gives new meaning to "fireman gives its head a twist".
But, but, does that mean the fireplug is a pedophile?
Oww... and I thought he was such a nice fellow.

It's a photograph my grandfather took and I scanned.
Though I use 'took' rather loosely as he had a habit
of taking pictures of photographs in magazines so he
could use them in the photo-collages he made. He
usually photoshopped them a bit: Cropped, changed
contrast, maybe combined them with others, etc.
Of course his photoshop was a darkroom with an
enlarger and dishes full of chemicals where he
manually developed the pictures. He was a barber
by trade and this was his hobby. The collages he
made were incredible! Sadly, almost all of them
were 'lost' by a careless relative. What I have
left are some of the photographs he made them from.

Why not post more of your grandfather's picture or write a poem about him taking pictures. Or even post some philosophical ranting you do that quite well.

1. Yes, I'm encouraged, I will.
2. I've tried, but they keep turning out mawkish.
3. It's probably best to discourage me on this one.
