Guy I know found a locked safe
alongside of the road

Big as a couple of milk crates

Solid metal

Takes it to a welder who cuts
a hole in the back

It's empty and he reaches through
and opens it from the inside

He figures out the combination
He even figures out how to
change it but he doesn't

I see the empty safe takin' up
space in his garage

Get the story, give him a hundred
bucks and get the safe
(the back hole was welded shut)

This sucker is heavy
Gotta use a hand truck

Longer story shorter- I bolt
the safe to house floor, write
combo on piece of paper
(weird number sequence- I ain't
able to remember it) and
throw a bunch of ammo inside

In and out as years go by

I keep the combo paper in
first, my key locked tool box then later
in another safe (that I can
recall the combo for)

So here we are now
But now I don't know where
the combo paper is
Spent two days lookin'
Nuthin'

No- that ain't exactly right

I did find eight hundred and forty
dollars that I didn't know I lost
(I swear I don't drink- just get
old pal, and you will know
how it is)

Finally have enough money
(2K total) to get a root canal
done

Been tryin' to save up for
half a year now (yeah,
poverty is painful- who knew?)

I am about to be the
happiest guy in Lauderdale to
go under the drill

Oh, and the bang filled
lock box?

I gotta buy a handful of
blades for my tiger saw

Gonna open this old boy up
like a canned ham

Hell, I might even get
smart enough to change the
combo to something I
can remember and then
get the lid welded back
on

Somethin' to chew on after
I get fixed somethin'
I chew with

Keep smilin' pardner, ain't
nobody gonna fight ya for your
grave
