Thanks to all who have made this site possible. It has really rekindled my love of the spoken and written word. I mean it. Fucking Milo, man you write some great stuff (it makes my dick shrink). Same for you Leanne and ellajam and Keith and Billy and erthona and Bena and newsclippings and christopherbythesea and true enigma and tectak and jeremy (gone now) and ray and and on and on and on...
I suck at poetry, but this site has made me want to write again...thanks to you all...

Just yesterday I saw a car license plate titled "CREEPER"
I couldn't figure out if it was a remark projected at the viewer or a self diagnosis.

we have highs and lows but i too love it in the main.

Really? I just got such a Borges feeling from you, your shit. I LOVE Borges. Him and Oscar Wilde I find myself compulsively agreeing with. I've read everything he's written. I love his compilation of essays (though others might not like as much as his poetry or fiction). He's got about as much common sense and penetrating intelligence and wit as I've literally encountered...kind of like Montaigne in that way, though Montaigne not as delightfully so.
God I love great writers and thinkers.
Did you ever read Paul Valery's writings on poetry? They might be better than his poetry.
Anyway...I'm in love now, and feeling good. You'll have to excuse my manic effusiveness.

Or did you mean Wilde? That's faintly possible.
But me? No, jeez, I've never read everything of anything nor anything of
everything. But I've tried to fool some of the people some of the time
(that's got to count for something).

^^^Obviously not everything. lol But those three volumes that came out some years ago of Borges's collected poetry, fiction, and essays are wonderful. I still pick them off the shelf to read certain things from time to time.

Thanks, too, for the shout out. You have the foundations of being a dick-shrinker: you have read and consumed the greats. That's really the only way to begin. I am enjoying watching you grow. I love this site too...it's very difficult to find honest, fantastic critique anywhere online these days. More than loving the site, I love all the people involved in this fanatical dysfunctional family.

to it in some way. It was more than just liking or loving; it was what I'd always
dreamed of writing. I could never do stuff like that; but, in having his poems to
steal from, mine have gotten a bit better. I love his stuff because it deals with
time, paradox, what writing does to itself, etc. Mathematical magician.
I found this one-volume collection that he selected himself a year or two ago
at a used book store ($2) , but I stacked it next to my computer unread.
THANKYOU for reminding me of him. Will scramble through the pile and find
it. My passion awakes...
P.S. And yes, I truly love this site and the generous benefactors who've made
it possible.
