excellent! a very tiny nit to pick would be using the title Samhain as a "fourth line" to enhance the other three lines.

thanks donbouquet. i disagree with your suggestion but to each his/her own. i think using it as a title alone is sufficient to set the stage   i appreciate the comment!

I did Google this and now I feel like a dumb ass, seeing as my mother has been practicing Wicca since before I was born... Certainly is a fitting title and sheds a whole new light on the piece for me.

yes, The Mists of Avalon. it's been years since i've read that. never read any of the other books in the series, but i did enjoy her telling of Arthurian legend. maybe i should pick it up and reread it some day.
