I found this to be humorous, imagining a buffalo freezing to death in the snow... Something about the creature's immobility makes me chuckle.  Cool

No disrespect intended unless due, but I always have consummate difficuly determing whether this sort of stuff is a piss take....and that is not good, either way.

Your lack of punctation is , however, quite unforgivable. Punctate to clarity otherwise:

Buffalo. Shoulder deep in snow.
Or:

Buffalo shoulder...deep in snow.

Or, that well known canyon of fifties Cowboys and Indian films, Buffalo Shoulder:

Buffalo Shoulder, deep in snow.

But overall,
who gives
a damn.

Make something out of that...and I am a personal friend of Mr. Overall Who, so be warned.
Best,
tectak

I'm reading this as a word play on the beast and the county - enough to cause a brief smile but perhaps not one for me that outlives the current weather report as for me it lacks any real depth, as i read it from my knee deep flood near sheepwash (Devon). Smile

Paul,
It reminds me of the joke whose punch line was "We bulls wobble but we don't fall down." This has the same type of word play. Buffalo N.Y. the city has indeed been shoulder deep in snow. Very punny.

How long after picking up the brush, the first masterpiece?

The goal is not to obfuscate that which is clear, but make clear that which isn't.

Thanks everyone for reading. Of course I'm taking the piss a little. Maybe should have posted this in "fun" due to it really having limited value outside of the colloquial Buffalo weather story. I just found it amusing that what may be a dry newspaper headline in Buffalo, NY. might also carry some haiku qualities. Wink Paul

it's fine posting it in this forum, it fits the criteria; piss take or not.
