thanks, U r welcome. Believe it or not, that skateboarder used to be me! I saw a kid yesterday on a street called Broadway, fresh new blacktop. It was like slowmotion ...

I drove past in my car
he was on the sidewalk
he came to the start of the black top
he jumped the curb
a big smirk on his face, hair flipping up
and the board went smack!

down on the black
he pushed off fast
headed into the traffic
without concern... I could feel the smoothe board under me - just like I was 16!

I smiled a deep soul smile and then time sped up to normal and that skateboard sound

was heard diminishing in the distance. I thought of my brother. We used to skateboard together every day, I was quite the tomboy. We'd grab the bumpers of cars in our neighborhood and hang on until they sped up to 30 mph. (Shh, don't tell my mother!)

The mood isn't just buoyant, it's practically weightless. who doesn't love being a kid? Smile
PS. If you can, try your hand at giving some of the others a bit of feedback. If you already have, thanks, can you do some more?

A tiny, unadorned image, simply related, and yet saying so much. Love the second line. Thanks BiancaSmile
