"Damp" sorta sensualizes the whole thing, which is kinda hot. Total eclipse, total wisdom, total love -- I've read too much Plato lately. Better abort. Lovely work.

Can't figure out the 'eclipse' connection, but 'damp light' is wonderful. A sweaty, after-sex glow.

For some reason this poem made me smile from hear-to-hear or ear-to-ear. This is probably because it allows the reader
to relate. Whereas larger works fill in too many blanks like why "my dear" is glowing....
