London Bells

I heard of you today
and London bells I hear
all the time, their distant sound
dying away in my ear.

I heard of you today
and I’m happy that you lived here
for a while, outside of my silences,
at this end of the year.

I like this, but lose comprehension in the middle of L7 - outside of my silences.

Not being much help, I know
