I thought Lune Form was 3-5-3 and not 5-3-5 ?
I'm not sure that it matters much as acorns and mighty oaks are a very difficult cliche to get away from. Especially with the lack of wiggle room provided by the form.

The research I found says it's 5-3-5 (writer's digest), but maybe different sources have conflicting info. I've been reading about a dozen new poems a day now (outside of this site) pretty consistently so hopefully the cliches will start to dwindle away (I hope).

It is a well-trod idea...”I could be bound within a nutshell and call myself the king of infinite space” right?

I don’t know anything about the form you’re using here...but I think since it’s a well-trod idea, the thing to do is the mess it up.

Maybe the oak needs to get tipped over?
