Well Hello

This forum popped up first on a search for crtiques. 
I have been writing bad to better poetry since I was in middle school (37 now), so I am finally ready to have the newer stuff examined by strangers on the internet.  A disclaimer is I have a weak grasp of how the english language works but I am looking forward to overcoming that so I can paint with a better brush, so to speak.
I believe in using writing to navigate one's own thoughts and to inspire others on their spiritual journeys to self growth and healing.  Glad to be here in tha pen.

Thanks for joining, we have 3 main critique forums of different intensity, we ask you leave detailed feedback in the forum of your choosing BEFORE posting your own for critique. This also gives everyone an opportunity to measure your expectations of critique within the forum. We don't just 'like' or 'dislike' anything, we give reasons why or possible ways to improve. Everyone critiques differently but there are resources with guidelines to fall back on here if you're having trouble. I'm a firm believer that your analyzing of others poems and honing in your critiques will have a bigger payout in honing your future revisions than just taking a few people's words for your own poem. In other words I'm more interested in how you critique than how you poem. Don't be discouraged though, we have a miscellaneous and fun forum and a sewer with even fewer rules.
