Renewal
This afternoon
through narrow interstices of my picket fence
I saw a little pink-dressed girl
managing a hoe
at my new neighbor’s beck.
Just flashes
hair ribbon
an old man’s eye, concerned
red handle-stick
small flexed bare arm.
I hope they don’t disturb
the wrens which nest
in a dry brown
disused garden there.

There is something disturbing about the last strophe
This is a brilliant poem, capable of different interpretations
Mine tend towards the ghastly

Oh, yeah,
that will make it less disturbing

Says I have to pay to write on the wordpad on my own desktop. So I started writing my stories in my emails. The people who own my emails cut my email access, and say I have to pay to keep using it.
So I came here and had my way with your poem.
Where should I send the money?
I think that poetry is the perfect place to be disturbing. Don't you?

Absolutely! Though visual media are a close runner-up. You do you, including all over poetry: it's why we're here. That, and because we pay to keep our phones and stuff working. Theft? Taxation got nothin' on rent.
