I heard something in my sleep -
A rainbow disgustingly crunched
And fire dripped on the earth.
I saw something in my sleep -
I was soaked wet under this rain
And I turned myself into an ice bird.
I did something in my sleep -
I stole as much green fire as I could
And painted hell in this damned color.

		Thank you, Billy!
I did write it like "fantasy". Probably you are right.

I really liked the image of a green hell... I can't explain it, but this poem has an energy all its own. Thanks for the read

PS. If you can, try your hand at giving some of the others a bit of feedback. If you already have, thanks, can you do some more?

I always pictured hell with pale green caves and a scent of rotted green egg yolks, Ris!! Thanks for the trip and the read!

Enjoyed this a lot. I read it as if it were a triptych of "heard, saw, did" (if that makes any sense!). Three snippets of experience boiled into one. Love the lines "fire dripped on the earth" and "stole as much green fire". Great read!
