Fishy Haiku; almost

Spring fishing at night
dimmed lanterns light the water-
cormorants waiting.

I'm surprised no one has commented.

I agree on the tranquility expressed in such few words,...love that lanterns are needed by the fishermen but the birds fish just fine at night

i came up with it after seeing one of those japanese/chinese watercolour paintings it was much more eloquent and tranquil than this puppy

people look down on Haiku because they haven't read "Fishy"
