Please don't use polls in the poetry sections. A poll is no substitute for a good critique, which can't be rendered down into "this poem is good/bad/ordinary".
It is standard practice here at the Pig Pen to delete any polls attached to poems.
It could be worse

It seems impossible there is no poll attached to this thread. Something easy like "Did you find this information helpful?"
Disappointing.

i remember some poetry sites where every poem had the like dislike poll.
does it take a poll to say sorry but the poem doesn't work because,
or
the poem works because.....
a poll that asks,
will anyone take notice of the opening post?

For the love of god, Billy, why can't you just add a <poll> button to this thread so I can vote??!!
"Do you like worms?"
"Do you agree with this post?"
"Did you find this helpful?"
HELP!!!

I can't imagine why a person would want to limit their responses to a preset list . . .
Totally agree with this.

I had a poll here that asked: "Do you think milo's problem is a) annoying but curable b) something to do with genital itching c) going to cause his untimely death".
I had to remove it. The responses were not encouraging.

Wow, no worries of tampering the results by guiding the sample?

Just a reminder: if you attach a poll to your poem, it will be deleted. Polls don't belong in the poetry forums.
