Welcome Trix!! We are all crap critics (other than a few local saints) Just try to tell the writer your impressions as honestly and as naturally as you can. Looking forward to your participation. Wonderful site. Jump in! - Paul

Hello, everyone! As you can see, my username is Serenem, but you can use my real name, which is Melinda, if you wish. I've been writing for a while and have been a moderator and user on a couple of workshop sites which, while great, unfortunately 'bit the dust'. Maybe we should have tried getting muddy like you have!
I was kindly invited by Abu Nuwas on another site when he responded to my wish for more in depth, helpful critique-- better than the 'nice poem' and 'awesome' that was found there. Well, thanks, all-- I look forward to getting to know you. Melinda
A refugee from Another Place... we like you already
As you've ascertained, it's dirty here, but all are welcome so long as you're happy to give as well as take -- and it's obvious that you are, so welcome indeed!
It could be worse

Hi, Melinda, welcome. The site's a combination of hard work and goofy fun, hope you take part in it all.
Five critiques in the workshops brings full membership, jump in

Hi yall, I'm Snipesrock, old name used for everything. To be honest I'm a terrible writer who rarely has inspiration. I came here because I wrote something today that I felt so deeply, that I want someone else to read it and know what they think. I'll post that in the proper area.
