Yes I believe i was something like what Quixi described, that this was a deliberate change implemented before so only posts made in select poetry forums were reflected in a member's post count. IIRC it was done so mods could look at the postcount of a newbie and evaluate from that how much the newbie has already contributed to the Critique forums vs hanging out in the for fun/ discussion side of things.
