The ending really seems to...just stick it. I like it a lot.
On my first read, I thought the speaker was crying uncontrollably and went through a whole box of tissues. Now I'm not sure if she in fact has a cold. I'm think the fact that "scorching days are far from here" means she's physically cold. IDK.

Giant cotton popcorn is hilarious.

I didn't mean for the speaker to be crying Pinsir, but maybe she's off sick due to heartsickness, who knows. ;p
