Blondes are Really not Dumb
I knew a blonde once, and I don’t get the fuss,
about blondes being dumb, she was smart as us.
Her intelligence shone bright, especially in musical taste,
Prince, Jocko, Madonna, were the “musicians,” that she thought were great.
She also liked Sting, cause “he’s so hot" and a "really cool dude,"
and sometimes she liked odd little bands like the B-52's.
And you know she wasn’t like, some other girls I knew,
she was still living at home, with her mom, at age thirty-two.
But of course she’d have move out, if she’d gotten a good job,
where they respected her feelings, and didn’t act like big slobs.
And man, she was classy; she lived, in the best part of town,
and she always acted proper, she didn’t fool around.
Well…except for that one time, she got an STD,
but she was young when it happened, and still somewhat naïve.
She did go to college, got a Bachelors in arts,
now how can you tell me, you don’t think she's smart?
She was also quite pretty, on top of all that,
if you don’t think so too, you're brunette and fat.
Some people thought her nose a tad bit to long,
but if it lets in the air, it can’t be that wrong.
Her eyes were cute, like little black beads,
she was a frail pretty flower, among a bunch of old weeds.
And maybe, her breast weren’t the best on the block,
but they pushed out her shirt, so those you can’t knock.
Her complexion, I’ll admit, wasn’t that fine,
but no worse than if she’d kissed a poison oak vine.
Did you know she had read, every self help book?
There was much more to her than just her good looks.
Once every year, (and she did this on her own)
she’d take her used makeup, down to old folks home.
Yes, she was a real blonde, but smart, pretty and kind,
So if you think blondes are dumb, then you must think I’m lying.
A heartfelt note from the writer:
You know it really upsets me that some people judge other people by things like the color of their hair and all that cause those people are just prejudice because they are dumb and they are jealous because they don’t have blonde hair too. I mean, look at me, I have blonde hair and I’m not dumb. After all I wrote this poem and it rhymes and everything. So if you are the type of person who is so ignorant that you think someone is dumb just because they have blonde hair, then you are just a mean person, and you probably have ugly hair, and are probably a faggot or something. Also, this is from my heart so if you give me a bad critique then I know that you are a really mean person who probably has ugly brown hair and can’t write good poetry like me. I mean I am not prejudice and I am a good and kind person who writes things from my heart, so if you are a mean person who gives bad critiques and says mean things that hurt people feelings then you should probably just go and kill yourself cause you will never be nice like me and you will never be blonde unless you died your hair and then you still would not be a blonde even though your hair is blonde cause you would still be an ugly brown haired person on the inside.
