Hi everyone, I'm Ally, and I just joined today. I love reading and writing poetry. And as my avatar might suggest, I love guinea pigs too :-) Best wishes, Ally
Please note, I'm away at the moment because my partner is unwell and he requires a little extra TLC.

Ally, your profile says you live with your partner. By that do you mean the person you bet on horses with, or your personal assistant, or is it that you're insinuating a virtual engagement ring on your typing fingers? . . . I'm a desperate man who can't afford to leave any stone unturned. Be it a diamond. . . . Plus I'm just joking with you. In case you're one of those people who takes everything to heart.

Someday we'll have to get a rolling eyes smilie.

In your place, I might have explained that I was an actual guinea pig and that your picture was an actual self-portrait which is exceptionally hard to pull off without opposable thumbs. I would leave out the part about the secret government experiment that boosted your intelligence and ability to communicate. I also would not discuss your partner who is a fellow guinea pig saved from the cosmetics industry. Loreal still has wetwork assassins searching for the said partner--no reason to draw attention to either of you. Smiling though is probably more discrete. Nice choice.

Thanks, Todd :-) There's a short story in the making there, I think! Do you write short stories? Well, I should probably start looking at people's profiles. Right now, it's time for me to make everyone's evening porridge :-)
