A Perelli calendar hangs

He thought it would make his death

When I read the name Perelli, I thought in my pretension that s/he might be an Italian artist or philosopher, thus I was highly amused to learn from Google that she is in fact a buxom model. This of course explained the title of the piece and made the meaning more potent; a darkly funny poem, strange and bitter and nicely written.
For some reason it reminds me of the South American novelist Gabriel Garcia Marquez, whose fiction is littered with these kinds of characters.

Billy,

I don't have much in way of critique here. I liked your use of hangs and swinging here. I thought it was a very effective short poem.

PS. If you can, try your hand at giving some of the others a bit of feedback. If you already have, thanks, can you do some more?
