Looking forward to reading your works!

To you as well Lydish. I've read your "Caesar" poem several times already. I adored it.
I've always wanted to live in a world where it's okay to pronounce both L's in my name.

Thanks Fuzz, for the praise and critique! Just left one for you on Intuition, which I really enjoyed.
And so it goes :-)

Hi everyone.
You can call me Seivarden or Dan. I'm very new to poetry, mostly having written prose until now. This actually links up to my reason for being here. I intend to write a series of poems as chapter titles for my novel, and I'd hate to do an embarrassing job. I may lurk quite a bit at first just to get those beginner principles anchored in me, but I hope to gain an active critical understanding, apply it, and submit my own work soon.

Hey guys!
I go by Alex and I'm pretty new to forums. I've only started flirting with writing poetry my junior year in high school, but I really got into it my senior year. Now I'm off to college. Hoping I can be of any help to all on this forum and I'm most excited to share what I've been writing and better it. Thanks!

Anyone who says "hey guys" should commit suicide.

Hey, you, Big Grin I say that, not suicidal in the least, too indecisive

Hello, I hated poetry in school. It wasn't raw enough. This might be a fun outlet for me.

Hi, I'm a 21 year old from Canada.
I like to do fun things like write poetry whilst drunk, as I reckon a drunk mind reveals a sober heart.

I never liked poetry from a young age, but things have changed. I've been through existential periods in my life in which my only form of release was to write down how I felt at the moment. That's really all I had, as I wouldn't reach out to anyone for help. Writing became a form of catharsis for me, otherwise I'd go insane from all the racing thoughts in my head.

I love melancholic writing, and everything dark. Never trust a happy song  Tongue
assholery not intended .
