As cartoon characters take flight at the smell of a pie
cooling on a windowsill, hands flapping like wings,
so the blind rat seeks her young. Love is a sound,
a homing signal, not a declaration but a simple beeping.
“I love you” – “I love you” – “I love you” – “I love you”

		hehe, i love this insight.
though i'm sure that what blind rats express is more instinct than love.
that said it's the idea behind the intent of the words
and that is superbly done. the last two lines
are extremely well written. i wouldn't change a thing jack
you show a physicality of how love really could be blind.
thanks for the read.

is love? Thanks for the kind words Bilbo

Your intelligent wit and ability to dish it in the most subtle manner (makes me double-take at times) is fantastic Mr Heslop!

I enjoy small insights. Very neatly and wittily put, esp. the final line.
